How to play Mahjong Connect

Read the aim of Mahjong Connect, then make your first move. Remove matching tiles connected by a path of at most two turns. Choose a clear next step rather than rushing through the instructions. Read the objective before making your first input. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

Build a steady rhythm

Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round. Refer to the controls when needed.

Your goal

Remove matching tiles connected by a path of at most two turns. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Check the rules when you are unsure.

Step by step

1. Select equal tiles.
2. The route must cross only empty cells.
3. An outside-border path is allowed.
4. Open connections by removing pairs.
